Danny Brackett started in the Automotive Industry at 23 years old. During his 20 year tenure at a GM dealership in Richmond Hill, he worked his way through the ranks as a Salesperson, Sales Manager, and eventually as the General Sales Manager. In 2007 with the opportunity to acquire MacMaster Pontiac Buick GMC, he and his wife Alex and their three children relocated to Orangeville and Brackett Auto Group was born.
In 2015, Brackett Auto expanded to include our neighbour Orangeville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat. After expanding with Orangeville Chrysler, Brackett Auto Group took on a multi-year and multi-phase construction plan to renovate and expand the Orangeville Chrysler dealership to feature a large 14-car showroom. With the completion of the state-of-the-art showroom in 2019, construction then started on the brand new 3-lane drive-thru, delivery area and shop expansion. In 2021, the 18-bay shop expansion, brand new service drive, waiting room and parts area expansion was completed. Also in 2021, a new Jeep façade was added to the east side of the showroom to support the launch of the new Wagoneer line and revised Jeep lineup.
In 2019, we grew again with the addition of Edmonds Chevrolet Corvette Buick GMC in Huntsville and with C-Line Collision in Orangeville to further service our customers in the community. C-Line Collision was later rebranded to Fix Auto Orangeville to further serve our customers better and underwent a renovation to the façade of the building and to the reception and waiting area.
In 2021, Brackett Auto also purchased the building next door to Fix Auto and transformed it into our 10-bay Brackett Auto Group detailing centre for Orangeville locations. This detail shop is fully prepped to detail our pre-owned Orangeville vehicles as well as provide Ceramic coating and even vinyl film paint protection that is laser-cut to fit the vehicle.
Brackett Auto Group also expanded further in 2021 with Bray Motors in Sundridge, Ontario joining the group. This expanded Brackett Auto Group even further north in Ontario and also grew with the addition of Corvette to the Chevrolet, Buick and GMC location in 2022.
In 2022, Brackett Auto yet again grew, expanding with Orangeville Volkswagen being added to the group. This expansion adds another brand and company to our group and in 2023, Orangeville Volkswagen will see a renovation of it’s showroom to VW’s latest styling, as well as an expansion to include a service drive thru and the addition of VW’s ID electric vehicle lineup.
